TECH PROJECTS / COMMUNITIES
October 2022
Rewriting the Code supports and empowers college, graduate and early career women in tech, through intersectional communities, mentorship, industry experience and educational resources, to become the next generation of engineers and tech leaders.
I participated in the Richter program at Lake Forest College recently this summer. Throughout the research project, I applied my knowledge in data science and computer programming to find out what would be the best first word to get started within a Wordle game. If you want to know the winning word, keep an eye out for my research paper that I will publish very soon.
July 2020
Excited to have introduced our very first Lake Forest College Girls Who Code Chapter! Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. As the president of my college loop, I oversee and lead the chapter through coding activities, mini hackatons, and more.
Being part of the CodePath community provided me with valuable skills, especially in Cybersecurity. I am also delighted to be a CodePath student ambassador and help provide my peers with valuable resources in computer science.
The Summer STEM Institute (SSI) is a six week virtual summer program from June 19 to August 1, 2022. SSI is an international program that provides academically talented and highly motivated students the opportunity to learn through a data science and research bootcamp, a Masterclass lecture series, weekend challenges, and a mentored research project.
